This is an Interim role for a Legal Contractor to join an International business with offices based in Reading.

Description
The successful candidate for the Legal Contractor role will hold the following responsibilities:
* Act as first point of contact for legal queries across all internal departments
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
* Meet with clients to negotiate terms
* Analyse, interpret, and implement company policies and procedures
* Ensure corporate compliance and manage risk efficiently
* Participate in strategic decision-making processes
* Ensure work is delegated out within the small team
* Collaborate with external legal advisers when necessary
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments
* Handle other legal matters as required
Profile
The successful candidate for the Legal Contractor role will need to have the following skills and experience:
* Be a qualified solicitor
* Have extensive experience in contract review and negotiation
* Have previous experience of working in an In-house legal function
* Experience of working within the financial services or professional services sector is an advantage
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to prioritise effectively
Job Offer
* This is an Interim role for a minimum of 3 months, but with a strong possibility of extension.
* Hybrid working- 2 days in the office per week
