Our organization supports children and young people with diverse learning needs, including Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.
About the Opportunity
This position offers qualified SEN teachers the chance to deliver 1:1 tutoring services to children and young people who require assistance in their educational and social-emotional development. We provide flexible part-time hours to accommodate your schedule and occasional opportunities to participate in remote jobs and online teaching assignments.
Key Requirements
* Valid Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
* Ability to prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
Contract Details
You will work under a contract for service and receive payment through PAYE. This arrangement is not equivalent to self-employment.
