Role Overview
This role will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of both Business As Usual (BAU) activities and project-related work. In particular, this role requires the successful candidate to assist with the execution of client and operational data stewardship responsibilities on a daily basis.
Role Responsibilities
1. Execution of Client and Operational Data stewardship responsibilities on a daily basis, including:
o Maintaining high quality, clean data by adhering to a strict governance and controls framework
o Ownership and responsibility for the maintenance and change management of allocated individual system’s data by the Team Manager.
o Maintenance of Legal Entity records within the firm’s client databases
o Ensure data management compliance within the relevant regulatory framework
2. Assisting with Data integration projects
3. Support the Team Manager and wider team colleagues with various change initiatives and process enhancements.
4. Where delegated responsibility by the Team Manager; act as a liaison to, and provide support for, any internal or external audits.
Experience / Competences
Essential
1. Must be either year 1 or year 2 within university.
2. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach
3. Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
4. Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment
5. Highly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience
6. Shows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments
7. Knowledge in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desired
1. Knowledge of financial markets
2. Previous experience in a similar organisation
