We are seeking a Clinical Lead for an EIP service in North Tyneside. The ideal candidate should be recovery-focused, enthusiastic, and motivated.
Experience in working with Psychosis, particularly first episodes, and awareness of qualifications in CBTp and/or Family Interventions would be beneficial.
You will be part of an MDT with a range of professionals providing interventions as described in NICE guidance. Engaging service users, carers, and staff in promoting wellbeing is important.
Main Duties of the Job
* Provide clinical advice, leadership, and supervision to staff within the designated scope of responsibility, ensuring robust clinical supervision structures are in place.
* Identify and organise the delivery of appropriate clinical training to ensure the highest standard of evidence-based clinical interventions based on care pathway packages.
* Demonstrate clinical excellence in clinical reasoning and decision-making when managing complex cases.
* Lead on and ensure robust and timely Clinical Audit systems are in place.
* Provide direct Clinical Interventions at an Advanced Practitioner level to an agreed number of Service Users.

Job Responsibilities
You will be working alongside a Team Manager, liaising with the Northumberland EIP Clinical Lead and leadership team within North Tyneside.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse/Registered Learning Disability Nurse (or equivalent relevant professional qualification)
* If applicable to service, Non-Medical Prescriber
* Relevant Clinical Training and postgraduate Qualification
* Qualification in Family Interventions
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge and experience of the Recovery Model.
* Proven track record of providing professional leadership within clinical services.
* Clinical supervision and application; adherence to Health and Safety policies.
* Casework management.
* Facilitation of personal development planning in others.
* Experience of CBU based Model of Care Provision.
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team using the CBU based approach.
* Care Packages and Pathways Clustering.
* Experience working with First episode Psychosis.
* Experience in a leadership role.
* Responsible for providing effective clinical supervision.
Knowledge
* Understanding of the service and evidence-based treatment packages.
* Ability to demonstrate clinical excellence in clinical reasoning and decision-making when managing complex cases.
