Are you highly organised with excellent attention to detail and would like to provide a range of critical support services to our Housing Service?
Join our Housing administration team to be a valued member of a service who are committed to providing the best administrative and business support in accordance with systems, statutory procedures, legislation, corporate standards, and policies.
This is a part-time permanent position working 30 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. You will be based at our New Parks Housing Office but hybrid working may be considered for part of the week. You will be able to work flexible hours and on occasion outside of, or after normal hours.
What You Will Be Doing
You will help develop, produce, and maintain service specific processes, systems, databases, and documents in line with corporate standards. You will ensure the service runs smoothly by responding to face-to-face enquiries, answering the telephone, responding to emails, and resolving enquiries in an efficient way. You will use your experience to work to standards, policies, and procedures daily, which will include a good understanding of data protection and written procedures.
What You Will Need
Experience of carrying out intermediate level administration tasks using IT applications such as Word, Excel, Email and websites and you will have the ability to input data and maintain databases accurately. Using good verbal and written communication skills, you will provide excellent customer service when resolving and responding to a variety of enquiries. With strong organisational skills, you will be able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring policies and procedures are followed correctly. Working with speed, accuracy, and high attention to detail to deliver a high-quality service. You will also be able to support meetings by taking minutes and recording actions.
