£35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Commission (circa £15k is achievable but significantly more could be earned) + Car + Mobile Phone & laptop
Monday-Friday - 39 hours per week
Our UK based design and manufacturing client are recruiting for Sales and Marketing Manager on a permanent basis. You will be predominantly based at the Telford office and will be fully supported by the wider sales, estimating, technical and project teams. This is a newly created role in the company, where the main purpose is to drive new business sales, as well as managing those key regular relationships with the clients who currently work with you. They have ambitious growth plans for the next 2 years and this role will be pivotal in delivering upon these objectives with a more structured sales and marketing plan.
Due to the nature of the products that they sell, they are keen to find a candidate that has experience of sales in the construction products industry ideally or something very similar.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Manage & develop existing customer base and key accounts.
2. Identify additional customers who mirror existing key accounts and develop those relationships.
3. Measure, report and understand customer 'value' - Enquiry win rate, year-on-year revenue, customer retention/loss.
4. Develop & implement effective sales & marketing strategies.
5. Manage marketing campaigns, analyse and report results.
6. Report accurate monthly and quarterly sales performance and projections to the Directors.
7. Manage existing sales resource and identify additional requirements in line with targets and sales performance.
8. Look into new ways to market our products out to work in addition to the sales activity you are doing.
9. Completing regular social media updates.
10. Gaining testimonials from completed projects to help showcase products to assist with future sales.
Skills and Experience:
1. You will ideally be a driven, highly motivated and focused individual with ambition to succeed.
2. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Be a team player.
4. Have good networking skills.
5. Have a proven track record of business development and increasing sales/turnover levels within similar businesses.
6. You will need to hold a full, clean UK driving licence due to the nature of the role.
