The Role As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. You’ll: Support the day-to-day management and strategic development of the service. Lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality, child-focused care. Collaborate with external professionals to ensure positive outcomes for each young person. Act as a role model, building trusting relationships that encourage growth and development. Supervise and mentor staff, manage rotas, and coordinate training to enhance team performance. Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding protocols. About You We are looking for a proactive and motivated leader who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. To be considered, you’ll need: At least 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care. An NVQ Level 4 (or higher) in Management or Children & Young People. In-depth knowledge of OFSTED requirements and safeguarding practices. Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, supportive approach. Experience managing budgets and staff rotas.
