Product Specialist Ireland 32-35k plus bonus Our client, the UKs leading brand of router cutters, routing jigs and routing accessories are looking to appoint a Product Specialist to assist with the growth plans in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for an experienced professional looking to make the next step in their career. This role may suit someone with merchandising experience in another sector, who has some practical knowledge/interest around some of our clients key products. Responsibilities: ensure merchandising solutions throughout the Island of Ireland are completed to expected standards utilising merchandising packs including web page, stock assessment form and photographs of each visit plan time prior to each installation to liaise with Supply Chain, and assemble and prepare Point of Sale requirements attend relevant retailer shows and major exhibitions change, refresh or arrange for replacement product packaging in-store ensure that the customer is happy with the level of service and report all feedback to line manager prior to leaving the premises cross-reference Dealers stock profile to the agreed status specification and advise the dealer and Account Manager of any recommended follow-up visits manage stock returns, POS and graphics from merchandising jobs and liaise with relevant Department Managers where necessary carry out adhoc work as requested by line manager The person: proven hand-on-experience within the tools, construction or outdoor power equipment industries desirable has a good level of practical skills including basic maintenance skills and assembly work and is able to use power tools and accessories competently excellent organisational and planning skills to meet strict deadlines self-motivated, disciplined, and able to offer practical solutions when aware of possible issues has a flexible approach to work able to build good working relationships with customers and employees good written and spoken communication skills has a clean driving license and is comfortable driving a LGV (transit style vehicle) willing to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland with overnight stays (weekend working with days in lieu) basic PC skills with relevant skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word Skills: Merchandising
