Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Sunderland. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to KS2 pupils. Providing one-on-one or small group support to children who require additional assistance. Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment. Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom materials. Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) where applicable. Promoting the development of pupils’ confidence, social skills, and academic progress. Requirements: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (essential). A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
