We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Medical Laboratory Technician to join our core lab team in Birmingham, AL. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience in hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation, working with advanced equipment like Beckman Coulter DXH, Iris, and Stago Body Fluid analyzers.
What You’ll Do:
* Conduct routine medical laboratory tests critical for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases.
* Set up, maintain, and clean lab equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
* Collect, analyze, and record test data to produce comprehensive reports using charts, graphs, and narratives.
* Analyze specimens to isolate and identify microorganisms, and consult with pathologists for abnormal findings.
* Ensure test results meet quality standards through precise analysis and reporting.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM), every third weekend
