Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists Account Manager and Sales Associate with assigned customer accounts.
2. Communicates directly with customers and principals via phone, email and TEAMS.
3. Enters customer orders in the business system for parts and basic assemblies.
4. Enters customer change orders and customer returns in the business system.
5. Monitors shipment schedules, provides schedule updates to customers and other Sales Team members, and serves as primary focal point for expediting with the client.
6. Ensure all order related documentation is submitted in a timely manner using established procedures.
7. Responsible for reviewing and taking corrective action on commission reconciliation, PONCs, and other system related issues.
8. Responsible for securing and maintaining Export Compliance documentation within SharePoint following established procedures.
9. Maintains customer account information in the business system (e.g. billing/shipping addresses, customer numbers, etc.)
10. Monitors and updates sales team on customer service items that are in jeopardy of failing to meet or exceed customer expectations.
11. Creates and delivers parts quotes directly to customers.
12. May assist the customer with selecting basic products.
13. Follows up with customers regarding status of open quotes.
14. Coordinates or assists in coordination of customer and employee meetings.
15. Administers and distributes various sales reports as required.
16. Provides suggestions to improve work process, such as reduction in non-conformances, increased efficiency, profitability, hit-rate and customer satisfaction.
17. Performs general administration activities for sales team including answering phones, transferring calls, copying, filing, typing and other.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Knowledge / Experience:
1. Associates Degree at a minimum. Bachelors degree in business, or technical discipline preferred.
2. 1 - 3 years of office administrative experience.
3. Direct experience in a sales and or customer service oriented work environment preferred.
4. Knowledge of office administrative procedures, standard office equipment.
