Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead & Develop: Manage and mentor our regional Technical Consultant team through regular contact, monthly 1-to-1 meetings, and Performance Development Reviews (PDRs).
2. Empower Growth: Identify and coordinate training opportunities to help the team grow professionally.
3. Foster Collaboration: Host regular team meetings to share updates, knowledge, and foster a supportive team environment.
4. Ensure Quality: Conduct Quality Control reviews of Technical Consultant documents, ensuring accuracy and technical soundness.
5. Client Engagement: Provide on-site IT consultancy and management for key clients, offering expert support and direction.
6. Recruitment: Conduct interviews to ensure we hire the most capable, qualified candidates.
7. Strategic Contributions: Participate in Lead Consultants meetings to contribute to the overall business strategy and direction.
8. Service Auditing: Shadow Technical Consultants and conduct service audits to ensure top-quality service.
9. Technical Support: Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and offer guidance to the regional team.
10. Client Solutions: Work directly with clients to identify tailored solutions and manage complex IT projects from start to finish.
Your Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience managing teams, ideally within an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
2. Strong background in delivering IT consultancy services, especially using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure platforms.
3. Proficient with server hardware, operating systems, hypervisors, and networking equipment.
4. Commitment to self-development, ideally working towards Microsoft Expert-level certifications.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Outstanding communication abilities, able to convey technical challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Approachable, supportive, and flexible when responding to the needs of the team and clients.
