Main duties of the job The Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, high quality person-centred nursing care for people living with a terminal illness and those important to them. The Registered Nurse will delegate as appropriate to level 2-4 practitioners ensuring they have the capability, knowledge, and expertise to carry out such activities and remaining the accountable practitioner. Offering specialised care within Mount Gould Community Hospital. Engaging a dedicated team of volunteers to provide companionship and advance care planning. In this role, you will work closely with teams and patients loved ones to provide comprehensive, person-centred care for those nearing the end of life.
