Job Summary
Are you ready to take your procurement career to the next level? GRAHAM Construction is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer to join our thriving Civil Engineering Procurement Team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with the Procurement Manager, providing essential day-to-day support to our Project Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling daily procurement requests for project teams.
2. Organising and managing electronic documentation using SharePoint and LSC.
3. Preparing tender enquiries, reviewing supplier quotations, and raising orders.
4. Collaborating with site personnel to meet project needs.
5. Managing new company documentation acquisition and internal approvals.
6. Ensuring accurate maintenance of data management systems.
7. Attending and contributing to procurement and project meetings.
Technical Competencies:
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience in the Construction Industry, preferably in Civil Engineering.
2. Strong communication and organisational skills.
3. Meticulous attention to detail.
4. Minimum two years’ experience in a similar procurement role.
5. Proficiency in IT, including procurement systems and Microsoft Office suites.
6. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable
1. Degree in a construction-related field.
