Our client is an interior fit out subcontractor who specializes in projects in the joinery and fit out sector. They deliver projects across the shopfitting, commercial, and fire door sectors. Sometimes working directly for clients but usually under a main contractor. Their office is located in Guiseley, Leeds, and they are looking to recruit a Trainee/Assistant Project Manager who can provide operational and project management support. This position will be based at the Guiseley office with travel to site as and when required.
They are a small but growing company that is keen to continue to win work, especially in the commercial and retail sectors. This position would suit someone young who has previous knowledge of the joinery and interior fit out industries. Applicants must have good IT skills and be good with people. You must be organized and have a practical nature. You will be required to deal directly with clients both over the phone and face to face, so applicants will need to have a confident and outgoing personality.
Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:
1. Knowledge of the joinery industry.
2. Good IT skills.
3. Organizational skills and a practical nature.
4. Confident and outgoing personality.
Previous experience in project management in the joinery or interior fit out industry would be ideal, but not essential. The client is willing to take someone who is willing to start at the bottom and work their way up, as long as they have knowledge of the joinery industry already.
