We are looking to recruit a Bereavement Officer (Band 3) as part of a team of Bereavement Officers based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. As the post holder will be required to travel between Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe Hospital a UK Cat B Driving Licence and access to a private vehicle will be required.

The vacant post is within a team of Bereavement Officers based primarily at Stoke Mandeville Hospital however the successful applicant will be required to work at other Trust Locations.
The primary function of the Bereavement Officer is the processing and issuance of the Medical Cause of Death Certificates; to enable families to Register the Death with the Registrar.
To achieve this the Bereavement Officer must liaise closely with a wide range of stakeholders within the Trust as well as being the first point of contact for the deceased relatives and friends during a very stressful time
The successful applicant will be an advanced MS Word & Excel user with highly accurate typing skills
