We have an exciting opportunity for an Junior HR Business Partner to join our team. As an Junior HR Business Partner at Karndean, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the HR strategy by driving key people initiatives across the business. You will be responsible for partnering with managers to deliver high-quality, proactive HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on senior recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, reward, talent management and HR project delivery. You will be a credible and knowledgeable HR professional, with a strong grasp of employment law and a passion for coaching and enabling people managers to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Senior Recruitment: Managing the full recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers, advertising vacancies, ensuring all documentation is appropriately approved and securely filed. Attending interviews as required, making verbal offers and collecting all relevant onboarding documentation to ensure a smooth handover to HR Assistant. Employee Relations: Providing expert guidance and coaching to managers on a range of ER matters Leading regular ER training sessions for People Leaders Coordinating and attending formal meetings, ensuring accurate notetaking and documentation. Maintaining oversight of documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy with filing securely. TUPE & Organisation Design: Take the lead on TUPE processes, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance, communication, and smooth transition. Support the planning and delivery of any projects related to organisation design. Learning & Development: Promote and champion the use of LinkedIn Learning across the organisation. Monitoring engagement and completion rates, providing regular reports and insights to the HR Management Team and department heads. Create and implement key training sessions where learning and knowledge gaps have been identified. Adopting a coaching approach to support the upskilling of our teams. Employment Law & Policy Management: Stay abreast of employment law developments, assessing their impact on company practices and ER advice being given. Reward: Able to ensure that offers and promotions all follow out benefits matrix and pay policy, benchmarking new or existing roles where appropriate. Talent Management: Supporting the business to implement SMART goals on an annual basis and completing appraisals on time. Engagement: Supporting the annual engagement survey, creation of 'Let's Listen' packs and facilitating meaningful conversations around the results with managers during 'Let's Listen' meetings. Strategic HR Projects: Take ownership of key strategic HR projects in line with the department's annual plan. Engage with stakeholders across the business to deliver impactful, sustainable HR initiatives that drive performance and engagement. Person Specification
