We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to join our Hospital Bank.Our Hospital Bank operates like an internal agency, providing staff to cover vacant ad-hoc shifts throughout the hospital., Healthcare Assistant shifts cover 24 hours 7 days a week. This includes weekends, nights and Bank Holidays. Most shifts are normally 12 hours and are usually 7am - 7pm, and 7pm to 7am, but there are a variety of shifts., It is important to consider that some aspects of healthcare work can be distressing and unpleasant but it can be an incredibly rewarding role.
Bank staff are employed on a casual, flexible basis.Our Bank HCA's work in many different areas and with different teams. Working on the Bank can be very demanding for this reason and it is preferable that you have previous experience in a healthcare role. It is the perfect place to grow your experience, working in lots of different areas across the Trust.Working via the Bank gives you the flexibility to get a real work life balance and work when it suits you., You will also need to be able to communicate empathetically and sympathetically to relatives and care for our patients who can be very unwell.
