Financial Operations Team Leader (Accounts Payable Portfolio)
We are currently seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our busy Financial Operations Team.
You will oversee and manage the Accounts Payable function and a team of Finance Assistants, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments and compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. You will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with other team leaders in the Financial Operations Team, supporting each other to manage overall resources and prioritise work to contribute to the successful delivery of overall team objectives.
About you
You will be a proactive and experienced Accounts Payable manager with a proven track record in a large complex organisation. Experience in the Higher Education sector would be an added bonus, but not essential.
You will be experienced in staff management and developing and leading a high-performing team, with excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation is essential.
To succeed in this role you will be self-motivated with strong time management and organisational abilities. You will be keen to contribute to system and process improvements to deliver all processing activity efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week. This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part-time.
