This full time, (35 hrs a week), London based paralegal role is to work within our market leading commercial real estate and licensing department who deal with three main sectors. These are commercial property, licensing and the telecoms sector.
As a paralegal in the telecoms team, your main focus will be supporting two partners on contentious and non-contentious work centred around ‘The Telecoms Code’.
Day to day tasks will include:
* Carrying out title checks and preparing title reports.
* Preparing a first draft of reports pre the service of notices under the Telecoms Code.
* Drafting and serving notices under the Telecoms Code.
* Instructing Counsel on pleadings.
* Preparing bundles.
* Dealing with filing of claims and filing of documents whilst in proceedings.
* Dealing with service of documents.
* Attending meetings and hearings where required.
* Helping with trial preparation.
* Formatting and tidying up documents.
* Assisting in the preparation of reports for the client.
* Running conflict searches, setting up new clients / matters and making sure that client information is up to date.
* General ad hoc tasks to support the team.
ABOUT YOU
This role would be an ideal starting point for someone entering their first fee-earning role as a paralegal. Alternatively, you may well have some previous paralegal experience in a real estate team or telecoms team (telecoms experience not essential).
The main thing that we will be looking for is that you have a passion for providing first class client care, thrive in a busy work environment that involves a lot of time sensitive deadlines (including court deadlines), and enjoy organising your day around an intellectually stimulating and varied workload.

Offer of employment
