Finance Business Partner (Assistant Manager)

The Finance Business Partner - Assistant Manager, works with the client facing teams to drive financial literacy, to chase and embed good discipline around core business processes, and to design and monitor suitable KPIs. There is regular interaction with the business through distribution, analysis and actions from standard reporting. The team aims to embed a “comply or explain” approach with individuals at all levels throughout the business with regards to core processes.

A look into the role
As a Finance Business Partner - Assistant Manager, within our Finance Business Partner team, you will support with:
1. Annual budgeting and rolling forecast
2. Standard costing and annual updates to the costing model
3. Finance and business reporting
4. Periodic WIP valuation
5. Maintenance of key processes and data
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a Finance Business Partner - Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is to be a newly or part qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA preferred) with previous finance analyst or management accounts experience. You will also need good IT and communication skills. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
6. Experience of working in professional services, or in a complex matrix structure organisation
7. Strong Excel skills
8. Well organised and able to work to deadlines
9. Able to train and coach others in use of systems and processes
10. Experience of annual budgets and forecast projections
