The Clinical Strategy teams’ vision is to, “Clinically lead the growth of key brands and accounts, serving as the conduit between internal and external stake holders, by facilitating peer to peer interactions." The role will support the UKI AWC Business to achieve its goals by leading and shaping activities that will provide a platform to position key Convatec brands products and services across both the acute and primary care business. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: • In addition to a formal qualification in a clinical discipline; Scientific graduate, Nursing, HCP or similar diploma, you have a comprehensive clinical background with a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in WoundCare/Tissue Viability and proven knowledge of underlying wound aetiologies and causative factors associated with hard to heal wounds. • You are able to demonstrate good communication and presentation skills and be competent in facilitation, organization and IT skills. • You are comfortable in seeing success measured through sales results and have a flexible approach, with an open mind and be prepared to change within the role to meet the current business strategy. • You have experience working with commercial colleagues/commercial awareness. If you have the following too, even better: • Publications in relevant healthcare journals • Experience of negotiation with healthcare policymakers • Teaching qualification CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Execute clinical strategy with direction from the National Clinical Strategy Manager in line with the business needs • Achieve objectives and key metrics as agreed • Be the proactive interface between internal organisation and external customers • Develop and delivery strategic account management plans to increase product usage in focus accounts. • Support growth of key accounts by enabling, supporting and maintaining customer access in key accounts. • Identifying key Health Care Professional’s, professional bodies, academia and patient organisations and forge relationships with these customers. • Support and facilitate the development of ConvaTec advocates, through engagement and partnership working, to support key brands aligned with marketing • Support digital clinical engagement, working with internal & external stakeholders to innovate new ways of working, to meet the needs of our customers • Support drive of key accounts by delivering brand specific outputs • Support Health Care Professional’s, in the changing NHS, to develop new pathways of care or clinical services, supporting the drive of key brands and providing opportunities to grow business • Develop and lead audit programmes to clarify current clinical practice and gather data to identifying business opportunities and demonstrate value proposition for Convatecs • Work with the Regional Teams to increase the level of Clinical Knowledge across the sales organisation, enhancing sales force effectiveness, aligned with Business strategy • Support the development and delivery of the professional education platform, to support key brands. • Provide training, support and education to our customers. • Provide clinical input to support the tender processes and gather market intelligence, around customer needs, in the development of new ConvaTec technologies. • Always maintain professional knowledge and ethical standards. • Work within and adhering to Convatecs Compliance policy & Standards of Business Conduct & Ethics
