Our client is a dynamic and proactive IT support company looking for a professional and ambitious person to join their support team. You will become part of a dynamic team and will be expected to have solid experience in an IT support role.
Within this position, you will be working closely as part of a wider team supporting clients both remotely and face to face, playing an integral part in the organization by providing technical support for hardware and software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Proactive monitoring of IT Systems
* Installation & Configuration of hardware, software, and IT Infrastructure
* Diagnosing system errors and other issues
* Help desk and incident management
* Ensure IT support processes are followed and documented
* Troubleshoot, appropriate problem solving, and ensure IT issues are being dealt with effectively and to the customer's satisfaction.
* Providing onsite and remote support

* Active Directory
* Microsoft Exchange 2007 - 2019
* Microsoft 365
* Microsoft Teams
* VMware
* WatchGuard Firewalls
* Networking
* Windows Server 2012 – 2022
* Windows 7-11
* 3+ Years in an IT Support role
SOFT SKILLS
* It is vital that the candidate has a good clear and concise telephone manner
* Reliable and able to work both with and without guidance
* Able to manage and work within demanding environments
* Able to explain issues and resolutions to customers with varying technical skills
* Flexible and willing to learn new skills
* Ability to work within a team - ensuring knowledge is shared
* An inquisitive and analytical mind who is service driven
You must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with problems and technical issues in a pressurized and time-sensitive environment. Ideal candidates must be motivated to excel in all areas and willing to learn new technologies. You are also required to have a driving license. You must be eligible to work in the UK when applying for this position. Training/Certification will be provided.
