Drive strategic procurement initiatives for a leading global engineering firm About the business: They are a leading provider of mission-critical industrial equipment and services. Role: Manage financial performance, supply chains, and inventory targets. Lead cost-down initiatives, negotiate with suppliers, and improve supplier KPIs. Responsibilities: Drive strategic cost reduction. Negotiate supplier agreements to achieve financial targets. Mitigate supply chain risks. Improve supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost). Analyse procurement data for opportunities. Qualifications: Manufacturing purchasing experience. OEM/automotive experience (advantage). Degree/equivalent (preferred). Supply chain qualification (preferred). Full UK Driving Licence. Competencies: Manufacturing/quality/planning knowledge. ERP/MRP experience. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
