Their dynamic, fast-paced team is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support their compliance function on a temp-perm basis. This role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Job Description
1. Assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring the firm adheres to all relevant insurance regulations and financial services legislation.
2. Conduct routine compliance monitoring, audits, and assessments.
3. Maintain accurate records of regulatory filings and compliance documents.
4. Support the preparation of compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Monitor changes in financial services regulations and advise the team on potential impacts.
6. Assist in developing and implementing compliance training for staff.
7. Respond to queries from various departments regarding compliance procedures.
8. Help investigate and resolve compliance-related issues.
The Successful Applicant
1. Immediately available or available within short notice.
2. Previous experience in a compliance or regulatory role, ideally within insurance or the financial services sector.
3. Knowledge of FCA regulations and the regulatory framework governing insurance firms.
4. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
