As the Head of HR Shared Service Delivery, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient delivery of HR services, including Payroll, MI & Analytics, Learning & Development, Employee Lifecycle, Resourcing Administration, HR Customer Service, Travel, Expenses, and Global Mobility. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance HR processes using automation and AI, ensuring our practices are customer-centric, scalable, and effective. Leading a team of 35 HR professionals, you'll focus on people management, cross-functional skills, and customer-focused solutions. Join us at Sopra Steria and lead our HR Shared Service Delivery to new heights This role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week based from our Stockton office. What you'll be doing: Lead and manage the HR service delivery team, ensuring high-quality operational support across payroll, benefits administration, MI, L&D, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes. Develop and implement HR service strategies to enhance employee experience and optimize operational performance, including the adoption of digital HR solutions. Oversee the maintenance and development of HR systems and technologies, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficiency. Establish and monitor HR service performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Foster a culture of customer service excellence and operational efficiency, maintaining high service standards and managing relationships with external service providers. Lead initiatives to maintain and exceed the Great Place to Work accreditation, ensuring a positive and engaging employee experience through specialized training programs and continuous development. What you’ll bring: Proven ability to design and implement HR strategies and initiatives efficiently. Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, regulations, and trends. Preferably CIPD certified, with substantial experience in HR operations or service delivery, including proven leadership experience. Strong expertise in HR systems, processes, and technology platforms, with a focus on driving process improvements and operational efficiency. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a data-driven mindset and problem-solving abilities.
