We’re looking for a dedicated Community Development Worker to join a dynamic team, fostering growth and collaboration in a college and education environment. This role involves engaging with community members, facilitating development programs, and providing resources to support local projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build strong relationships with community members, identifying needs and supporting relevant programs.
2. Develop and implement projects aimed at community improvement, such as youth programs, workshops, and skill-building events.
3. Act as a liaison between the college, local organisations, government agencies, and the community, advocating for resources and support.
4. Organise and attend community meetings, promoting engagement and participation in development projects.
5. Gather feedback from community members, assessing program effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.
