A) The need to drive quality improvement across health and care services has never been greater. TheQuality Improvement Support Officerwill make a real contribution to improving the quality of care across Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust by enabling capability and capacity to deliver continuous quality improvement across our services.
b) Specifically, the Quality Improvement Support Officer will be responsible for supporting the Quality Improvement team and help to build quality improvement (QI) capability across the trust through supporting and co- ordinating the delivery of Qi programmes, training and coaching, Qi events and facilitated sessions.
c) Youwill supportthe day to day running of the Qi office by answering staff queries on improvement, maintaining trackers and spreadsheets, ordering supplies and equipment and maintain systems to ensure the smooth running of the office.
d) Undertheguidanceof QualityImprovement leads, you will take an active role in supporting and delivering Qi training, maintaining training records and project trackers as well as contributing to data analysis using a variety of software packages.
e) Under the support and guidance of the trusts comms team, you will take a lead role in maintaining Trust wide communications around Qi events and sharing of improvement success and learning across the trust.
Organise, promote and support Qi training programmes, workshops and events, ensuring they run smoothly. This can be both on line and in person across the organisation.
Lead on the evaluation of delegate feedback following training/events, analysing the feedback and make recommendations in order to improve the delivery of future events
Support Quality Improvement leads with facilitation and specialist support to teams undertaking improvement projects, using recognised QI methodology to maximise motivation, engagement, impact and learning.
Take a lead in writing Qi communications for the Trust, ensuring that Qi case studies, Qi in Actions, updates and project updates are written and widely shared across the organisation to support the building of a positive improvement culture. You will also maintain external comms via social media channels.
You will provide a key function in supporting the Qi office with general team administration tasks, eg organizing meetings and sessions, ordering equipment, booking venues, maintaining stock levels and procurement
To provide timely, accurate and statistical information as requested by the lead. This may require analysis of complex facts and situations.
The post holder will be required to regularly use computer software todevelopor create statistic reports requiring formulae in order to support improvement work.

a) Contribute to and take the lead on specific aspects of the ongoing development of our knowledge base and our approach to improvement at SCFT
b)To support theQIleads in the analysis of complex information fromall modules, identifying trends and areas of particular risk for operational and corporate services.This will include provision of data to support demonstration of compliance with both internal and external requirements.The post holder must have the confidence to challenge others,thinkindependently and evaluate complex information effectively.
c)Provide support to priority Trust-wide improvement programmes and projects including coordinating the deployment of improvement team resources and planning meetings, workshops and events.
d)Work with Patient and Public Involvement experts and our communications team to ensure that all relevant stakeholders, including patient representatives and otherhealtheconomy staff areinvolvedappropriatelyintheplanning anddelivery of improvement work.
e)Ensure improvement programme and project documentation is produced, stored centrally and shared appropriately in line with agreed policy and Standard Operating Procedures.
f) Ensure that data gathering, data presentation and data storage methods comply with the Trust's Information Governance policies.
g)Prioritise a varied workload, taking account of departmental and Trust goals and project deadlines.
