We are looking for a Network Engineer with a strong background in Cisco Meraki appliances to join our Network Operations team. This role will focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability, security, and performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
* Meraki Appliance Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain Meraki network devices including switches, access points, and security appliances.
* ZTNA/SASE Implementation: Experience with design, deployment, and management of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) or Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions to enhance network security and performance.
* Network Design & Implementation: Design and deploy network solutions to support business growth, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
* Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, providing 3rd line support when required.
* Security Management: Implement and manage network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
* Vendor Coordination: Work with Cisco and other vendors for support, upgrades, and licensing.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with networking technologies and suggest improvements for network performance and security.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in network administration with a focus on Cisco Meraki.
* Certifications: CCNA or equivalent professional network certification required; CCNP or higher preferred.
* Proven experience with network protocols like BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and QoS.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Skills:
* Expertise in network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
* Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
* Excellent communication skills for documentation and team collaboration.
