SEND QA Manager

£350per day (Via Umbrella)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a SEND QA Manager within a Local Authority to assist the Education Department for an initial period of 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee theSEND Quality Assurance Framework and processes, ensuring consistency and high standards in EHCPs.
* Lead and coordinate themulti-agency Quality Assurance Groupto monitor and evaluate the quality of EHCPs through regular audits.
* Collaborate with multi-agency teams to identify areas for improvement, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
* Work closely with the SEND Head of Serviceto report on the quality of EHCPs to the SEND Improvement Board, presenting audit findings, trends, and recommendations.
* Support in the development and implementation of strategies that improve the delivery of EHCPs, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and the needs of children and young people.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices related to SEND quality assurance and EHCP processes.
Experience:
* Provenexperience in managing SEND processes, including EHCPs.
* Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory guidance.
* Extensive experience in quality assurance, auditing, and reporting, preferably in an educational or social care setting.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues at all levels.
* Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable insights to improve service delivery.
