Delegated Underwriting Analyst Pro currently has an exciting opportunity to join its Insurance Services team as a Delegated Underwriting Analyst in the Delegated Bordereau area.
The job holder will be responsible for meeting client service levels, supporting the contract manager in transitioning and onboarding of new work, and being a specialist in delegated to assist clients with issues, challenges, and recommending process efficiencies.
Pro operates a hybrid working policy, with time split between home and our Gloucester or Liverpool office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Processing bordereaux into an external bordereaux management system.
* Being available to work alongside clients to achieve operational excellence.
* Monitor KPIs and SLAs. Produce daily and weekly client reports, leading the weekly update calls. Arrange, drive, and steer the Monthly and Quarterly Service Delivery and Client Governance meetings.
* Developing and building upon existing client relationships and being the main point of contact, dealing directly with clients in a collaborative and professional manner.
* Deliver training to new members of the team. Review and produce detailed and robust training plans for in-office and remote training.
* Provide hands-on technical Quality Control support to ensure the team is achieving client SLAs.
* There may be some team management for small teams involved.
Skills and Experience
* Strong leadership skills.
* Excellent technical skills and ability to prioritise the workload of the team to meet deadlines.
* Good corporate financial awareness and pro-active understanding of team utilisation, together with experience of using workflow tools to monitor, measure and act upon performance management information.
* Good understanding of London market systems and procedures.
* An understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market and processes essential.
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in the (re)insurance market. Within a Service Provider or an operations leadership role within a Managing Agent desirable.
* Experience of various Underwriting platforms and document management systems is desirable.
* Excellent communication and people management skills essential.
* Good experience in working with Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Essential to be able to maintain a conscientious, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
