Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.
Duties
1. Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
2. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
3. Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping tasks.
4. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
5. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising staff.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
3. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
