4 on / 4 off, 7am – 6pm, average of 42 hours per week
Introduction
We’re looking for a passionate Chef to join our team and become a valued part of day-to-day life in our home Court Lodge in Lymington, Hampshire.
You’ll take the lead within our well-equipped kitchen, using your creativity to develop and deliver exciting dishes. Our food complements the luxury surroundings. We use locally sourced fresh produce to provide that home from home taste to our meals selected using resident feedback.,
Talking with our residents and understanding their needs, you’ll produce wholesome, well-balanced and nutritious meals to aid their health and wellbeing and tantalise their taste buds too!
You’ll lead both the kitchen and waiting staff to deliver a first-class dining experience, inspiring them through development, motivation, creativity and encouragement, making a difference to our residents’ day, every day.
And all shifts finish at 6pm, so you’ll enjoy that all-important work-life balance!
About You
You’ll have an infectious enthusiasm for what you do and a genuine passion for creating an exceptional resident dining experience. You’ll be a natural communicator, a team player with a can-do attitude and a sense of fun.
You’ll take pride in understanding our residents’ needs and leading them through a unique and exciting food journey, building lasting relationships along the way.
You must hold a valid driving license and have relevant business motor insurance
You’ll have qualified to City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ Level 3 in Catering / Cookery, and have previous experience in a similar role. Whatever your signature dish is we want to hear from you. Join the team and make a real difference to the dining experience each and every day.
