Gi Group are looking for an experienced Service Specialist to join one of our clients in the Leicester area. MATERNITY COVER \n\nThe client:\n\nOur client is the world leader in non-destructive testing, they offer the broadest portfolio of industrial inspection solutions. Their solutions include radiography and computed tomography, remote visual inspection, ultrasound and eddy current technologies.
Our client ensures safety, quality and productivity for their customers across major industries around the world.\n\nThe job:\n\nService Specialist\nMaternity Cover (9 months)\nMonday - Friday day shift\n£38k per annum OR £19.50 p/h\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop an in-depth understanding of Visual Product Line Service portfolio and collaborate with key teams to ensure alignment with Customer requirements, Pricing strategy, and Terms & Conditions for service offerings.\nOwning the Handover process for Service Contracts, from Inquiry To Order to Remittance, which involves reviewing contracts and proposals.\nEntering orders in SAP system, managing billing, revenue recognition plans, and database updates.\nBuilding and nurturing strong customer relationships.\nCollaborating closely with different departments to guarantee timely and accurate services are rendered to customers according to contract terms.\nOptimizing revenue recognition and billing milestones and overseeing contract margins to ensure profitability.\nUpholding meticulous records of contract-related information and consistently updating databases to guarantee precise data flow, providing valuable insights to pertinent stakeholders.\nChampioning a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and addressing technical and commercial risks, implementing best practices, and providing valuable recommendations for service, engineering, and product management teams to excel in executing service contracts effectively.\nEnsuring positive cash flow within contracts by promptly addressing and resolving any invoice disputes and effectively facilitating on-time payments from customers.\nIncreasing contract renewal rates by fostering positive relationships with customers and demonstrating the value of renewing contracts with our company.\nImproving customer experience by ensuring efficient and effective contract management processes, addressing customer concerns promptly, and enhancing overall satisfaction levels.\nEnsuring healthy project margins by closely monitoring costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and optimizing operational efficiency to maximize profitability on projects.Requirements for the role:\n\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience role.\nPrevious similar experience in contract management\nComputer skills with familiarity of MS Office products\nFluency in English, additional languages are advantageous.To be considered for the Service Specialist role, please call us on (phone number removed) \n\nShould you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Gi Group office.\n\nGi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited are proud founding members of Menopause in business, pledge members for Neurodiversity in business, Disability committed members, Silver status pledge members for the Armed Forces Covenant, and Bronze trail blazers for Racial Equality matters. \n\nGi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited, Grafton Professional Staffing Limited, Encore Personnel Services, Gi Group Ireland Limited and Kelly Services (UK) Ltd.
