Duties and Responsibilities:
* Directly manage Sales Teams in Stafford, and coordinate sales activities with Puffer-Sweiven Sales Management across the Company, and Emerson Impact Partner Managers to identify opportunities and deliver sales results.
* Collaborate with Puffer-Sweiven Business Unit Leaders to identify, develop, and achieve results for the markets served.
* Identify Puffer-Sweiven opportunities (all products and services) in the markets served.
* Collaborate with, develop, and maintain relationships with principal manufacturers including but not limited to Emerson, as well as Emerson Impact Partners to maximize results.
* Develop and implement strategies for maximizing Company opportunities across the region.
* Establish and maintain relationships with customers, including relationships with some of the key Engineering and Purchasing personnel at major customers.
* Develop a business plan for areas of responsibilities that includes goals, objectives, and strategies that ensure attainment of goals related to sales, margins, and expenses.
* Deliver and report strategic and financial results to the Company for the region and Sales Team.
* Evaluate sales performance of direct reports and give feedback consistently, regularly, and in a timely manner.
* Create an environment of success while building a strong team. Spend a large part of time interfacing with the sales force and customers.
* Monitor sales team performance metrics and communicate results to individuals, teams, the Business Unit, and Corporate.
* Lead, develop, and direct personnel resources attached to the Sales Team to include managing the selection, retention, development, measurement, motivation, and cooperation of the sales staff.
* Ensure that the Company’s policies and strategies are communicated and implemented.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining proper work processes that will assist and provide the lowest cost to sale while maximizing margin.
* Provide quarterly Company management presentation of team strategies, objectives, activities, and results.
* Perform related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Knowledge:
* BS/BA degree in a discipline that demonstrates strong business acumen or a combination of education and experience.
* Strong Knowledge of Industry/ Business Climate including working knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry.
* General knowledge of Product and Service Offerings including Control Valves, Regulators, Isolation Valves, and Safety Relief Valves.
Experience/Skills:
* 2-3 years of successful Sales Management experience.
* 5-7 years of selling automation and measurement equipment and services.
