We are looking to recruit a Company Secretarial Advisor / Senior – (Paralegal) to help deliver corporate compliance obligations to our large and diverse client base. We are flexible on location within Scotland. The Company Secretarial Advisor / Governance Assistant will be responsible for (but not limited to): Ensure all statutory deadlines are met for our company secretarial clients Build and maintain client relationships Onboard new clients to our systems including review of Companies House to ensure no discrepancies and resolve any issues directly with clients. Coordinate statutory and regulatory filings including any associated minutes/supporting documentation. For example, director appointments, share transfers, confirmation statements and PSC filings Together with the existing management coach, support and review of work prepared by more junior members of the team Provide company formation services Provide support for more complex ad hoc corporate services such as share capital restructures Ensure statutory registers are kept up-to-date Attend board meetings and take board minutes for client Monitor use of our registered office addresses Ensure firm company secretarial processes are being followed and make recommendations for improvement Responsibility for billing clients and debt management Monitor recovery of company secretarial services and challenge where not meeting target recovery About You: Experience in a company secretarial role is essential, preferably in a legal/professional services environment Ability to manage your own workloads and professional learning Confident communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others Excellent attention to detail Demonstrates a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing needs and priorities Why JC?
