Flexible Cover Supervisor – Manchester

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join our team and provide classroom supervision in the absence of teachers. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to work across various subjects and year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage students during lessons, ensuring they stay engaged and on task
* Follow pre-prepared lesson plans provided by the teacher and adapt when necessary to meet students' needs
* Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively
* Support students in their work, providing guidance and answering questions where appropriate
* Ensure students follow school rules and routines, providing feedback to teachers after lessons
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Experience working with young people, particularly in an educational setting (preferred but not essential)
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to keep students engaged
* Adaptability and the ability to quickly get up to speed with various subjects and lesson plans
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and positive attitude

Salary: From £85 per day
Hours: Flexible, with full-day and half-day options available
