Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Welder

Keen Transport, part of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group is seeking a heavy equipment mechanic at our Carlisle, PA location.
This is a full-time position, First Shift, 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* You’ll work on heavy equipment that requires a high level of skill: hydraulics, electrical, diagnostics and welding.
* Perform all maintenance and repair activities on High and Heavy Equipment.
* Install attachments as required by customer.
* Drive wheeled machines from discharge or parking location to work areas.
* Complete required paperwork/programs for the repair or parts installation on all types of equipment and machinery.
* Adhere to established quality, environmental, and safety standards.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* Understanding of H&H machine repair and attachment installation, (hydraulics, electrical, painting, bodywork).
* Ability to update software in H&H machines, adjusting pressures, etc. using multiple digital platforms.
* Valid Driver’s License.
* Clean Driving Record.
* High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, preferred.
* Ability to read, write, and follow procedures with minimal supervision, blueprints, technical drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics.
* Proficiently use hand and power tools - Welders, grinders, torches, etc.
* Welding and forklift certifications required - Welding Qualification range FCAW-G and FCAW-S, Flat, horizontal, vertical with backing (CJP) Carbon and Low Alloy Steels All diameters.
