About The Role
Dyer & Butler are seeking a Project Manager to join our Maintenance team. We are excited to present this new opportunity for a talented Project Manager Who is looking to be involved on a variety of challenging Projects. Focused on safety, compliance and delivery.
The Maintenance team provides technical services for a range of construction related disciplines, and activities, focused on delivering great service everyday supporting our clients’ primary assets to enable an extraordinary airport, fit for the future.
Primarily supporting our Aviation client in Hounslow – this role is suitable for experienced Project Manager or Site Managers looking to progress their career to the next level.
Role Purpose
Based on nights, achieving business delivery of the maintenance framework, effectively managing resources and delivering quality. Focused on best use of resource, plant and materials, to deliver great quality, safely while maintaining compliance with internal and client needs.
Being client focused, showing excellent understanding of the scope of works, ensuring excellent safety, standards and quality are maintained throughout the life cycle of the projects.
Maintaining excellent communication between all departments of the internal team and wider business units, leading delivery and quality solutions specifically targeted at delivering what we promise. Controlling and delivering our contractual KPI’s.
Qualifying Criteria:
1. Site experience and ability to drive Dyer and Butler’s values and behaviours.
2. Proven capability in delivering technical packages on civil engineering schemes.
3. Good grasp of commercial responsibilities
4. High standard of presentation skills
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Ability to manage work efficiently between multiple projects.
7. Good Site setting out skills
8. Contribute to the enhancement of the quality of delivery solutions by identifying and introducing improvement opportunities.
9. Share knowledge and coach other team members in order to support improvements in team’s performance.
10. Ability to interpret scopes, technical information and drawings.
11. Good communications skills and ability to work well with other teams and departments at all levels both internally and externally, including client liaison.
12. Excellent data management and Quality Control.
13. Keep up to date with legislations and current industry standards.
14. Working knowledge and understanding of CDM roles and SHEQ duties.
15. SMSTS or equivalent Site Management Training
16. Holder of CSCS accreditation
17. Desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.
18. Full UK driving license
19. 5yr Traceable employment
Desirable:
20. Level 3 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying
21. Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
22. Previous experience in a management role
23. Experience working within the construction, engineering and aviation sectors
