Job overview
These posts offer an opportunity to an individual to work within the Booking Office at a Supervisory level, to ensure an efficient, well-organised appointment and reception service in the Princess of Wales Hospital.
The successful candidate will work alongside and in partnership with another Departmental Supervisor but will form part of the supervisory team of the Medical Records Department within the Health Board. The successful person will also provide support to the Medical Records Manager and Deputy Manager.
This post will be worked Monday - Friday and flexibility will be required as at least one afternoon shift until 17:00 each week will be required to work.
Main duties of the job
* The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Booking Office Team provides a full appointment and reception service for Outpatient Clinics.
* Ensure the day-to-day organisation of outpatient clinics.
* Ensure there is a well-trained workforce.
* Support the Medical Records Manager and Deputy Manager.
* Excellent keyboard, customer care and communication skills are required for this role.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
