The Exmoor Pioneers Programme, backed by £1.25 million in funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, is a four-year initiative aimed at enhancing nature, heritage, and community on Exmoor. This transformative project is a celebration of Exmoor’s unique landscape and heritage, ensuring its future for generations to come.
We are now looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join us and support the Exmoor Pioneers Programme on a part-time basis, working 29.6 hours per week for a four-year fixed-term contract.

The Role
As a Project Co-ordinator, you will lead the co-ordination of our Exmoor Pioneers Programme. Ensuring the programme’s successful delivery, you will manage the programme team, oversee public events and liaise with education providers to deliver the skills component.
You will also:
1. Convened and service meetings
2. Maintain the programme's public profile
3. Compile quarterly reports for the National Lottery Heritage Fund, ensuring all activities align with grant terms and organisational standards
4. Work closely with the communications team on publicity and press releases
5. Oversee the evaluation strand of the programme in collaboration with a consultant
6. Ensure effective co-ordination and budget compliance across all programme components
About You
To be considered as a Project Co-ordinator, you will need:
1. Experience delivering and/or co-ordinating substantial projects or work programmes
2. Experience managing contractors
3. Experience working with funding bodies and grant reporting
4. Experience of the skills sector, managing internships, etc.
5. A good understanding of the environmental sector and/or Protected Landscapes
6. Management and/or supervisory skills
