The Receiving Coordinator position includes everything from unpacking shipments and ensuring inventory quantities being processed, to inputting purchase orders, identifying inventory discrepancies, tagging new product, submitting return authorizations for damaged products, steaming shipments, etc. This position requires you to be efficient, organized, very detail oriented and willing to do both desk work and manual work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee entire receiving process to company standards
* Oversee and manage all existing inventory at home location; identify and rectify discrepancies
* Prepare incoming merchandise by unpacking, hanging, steaming, tagging & uploading all items to company standards
* Utilize company inventory system/POS software on a daily basis to set up purchase orders, check in purchase receipts & print tags
* Communicate discrepancies, return authorizations, damages & more with vendor representatives
QUALIFICATIONS
* One year minimum in a fashion/retail industry related position; receiving/logistics experience is a plus.
