We are searching for a Senior NPD Technologist to join our team at Finnebrogue for up to 12 months to provide maternity cover. Reporting to the NPD Manager this role involves manging the day-to-day activities that involves getting products from concept to launch. We are one of the fastest growing food manufacturers in the UK and are searching for a passionate Foodie who will thrive in our environment where our employees are developed to become the best that they can be. Key tasks Work in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines, making sure that all important milestones are met Source new ingredients, identify suppliers, obtain costs and specifications, and collaborate with the Specifications Technologist to complete product specifications. In charge of meeting the necessary delivery deadlines and distributing kitchen samples Plan trials, collaborate closely with the technologist and make sure that all raw materials are ordered ahead of time. Attend onsite meetings as required. Recipe development and present products to customers. Support NPD trials, launches. Organise nutritional analysis, lead competitor benchmarking, conduct sensory panels, and attend quality panels as needed. Review and approve product artwork. Manage NPD Technologist, stay updated on food trends. Assist in uploading correct data to the Product Development tracker sheet and to maintain this document with up-to-date data. Assist with preparation of product costings to ensure profitable products are presented and/or launched. What it takes Excellent communicator with the visible passion and enthusiasm for achieving targets, objectives, and continuous improvement in a cross-functional team environment. Organisational Skills? essential with the ability to work in a team or on own.? Understanding of steps required to launch a product & how to complete them? Creative thinking?
