Role Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEND Nursery Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to children with diverse needs, ensuring they have a fulfilling and enriching educational experience. You will work closely with teachers and specialists to create personalized learning opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and implementation of activities tailored to the individual needs of SEND children. Support children with daily routines, including personal care, social skills, and educational tasks. Collaborate with the nursery team to monitor progress and adapt strategies to enhance learning. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and empowered. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's development and needs. Qualifications and Skills: Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, is highly desirable. A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or special needs support is preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
