* Integrating the activities of a range of Engineering disciplines (Control Systems, Software Development, Electronics and System Security).
* Analysing the behaviour and performance of the in-service EMU / EVHMU solution, using modelling and simulation as required, to demonstrate that the system meets its requirements, and to support problem investigation and problem closures and customer issues.
* Developing and capturing knowledge of the product, processes and associated product line, producing Engineering work products and reports to document the work carried out, and advising the project and stakeholders as required on progress and next steps.
Who we’re looking for:
* Engineering degree(s) from a relevant discipline.
* Demonstrable depth of knowledge and experience in Control Systems Engineering, with a working appreciation of associated engineering disciplines (software, electronics, system security).
* Working knowledge of Health Monitoring domain, and the associated system architecture, software and/or hardware architecture, software and hardware development process constraints, and verification vehicles and strategies.
* Familiar with developing model-based systems and software with digital engineering toolsets (MATLAB, Simulink and/or similar), requirements management and lifecycle / workflow management tools, e.g. DOORS, Azure DevOps, MKS Integrity, etc.
* Good time management skills able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Dynamically respond to evolving objectives and emerging opportunities while working in coordination with a multidisciplinary, energetic team of engineers.
