Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Safety Learning Team Leader Role within the Womens Clinical Support Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This role is a key role working with the CSU Governance and Quality Lead to support the unit on its governance and quality arrangements, and we are looking for an experienced midwife/nurse who is passionate about enhancing safety and outcomes for our service users and their families. Main duties of the job The post holder will work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary CSU governance team and, as line manager of the Quality Safety Learning Team, will oversee the day to day delivery of clinical governance and risk management processes to provide assurance in the safe working and effective practice within the CSU. A proactive approach to risk management and the patient safety agenda will support the embedding of high clinical standards alongside quality improvement initiatives to reduce harm and identify risks related to morbidity and mortality. As a line manager of a busy team with often challenging workloads we are looking for the post holder to be able to provide effective leadership and management skills which promote a proactive approach to clinical governance and risk management.
