Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE)

ROLE:
As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting Legionella risk assessments in commercial and industrial premises, with a strong focus on cooling towers. You will assess water systems for compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS8580, provide risk evaluations, and recommend control measures to ensure client compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting risk assessments on cooling towers, closed systems, and water treatment processes.
Completing detailed reports and making practical recommendations for Legionella control.
Supporting the development of Legionella control schemes and water hygiene management plans.
Carrying out sampling, temperature monitoring, and audits.
Working independently while collaborating with engineers and consultants.
Keeping up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
The role is field-based across London and surrounding areas, with time spent at home or in the nearest office for report writing and planning.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Legionella risk assessment experience is essential (minimum 2 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of cooling towers and water treatment processes.
City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent preferred.
HTM04 (healthcare premises) training and a safety passport or IOSH certification are advantageous but not required.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
