We are looking for experienced midwives who are keen to work in all areas of maternity care, including in the community, on the Labour Ward, and Antenatal and Postnatal Ward, and who are passionate about supporting women to give birth in the way they choose to do so. Successful candidates must also be able to contribute to an on-call system.
It is essential that you can drive and very useful if you have access to a car for work purposes. You will be working in the hospital and in the community.

We are looking for Midwives confident to work in all areas of maternity care - community, labour ward, antenatal and postnatal ward, as well as newly qualified midwives keen to start their career with us.

Person Specification
Education, Qualifications
* Registered Midwife
* Current driving license and access to a car for community work
Experience
* At least 2 years recent experience of intrapartum care.
* At least 2 years experience of antenatal care in either hospital or community setting.
* At least 2 years experience of providing support with breastfeeding.
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
* Ability to demonstrate competence in all areas of midwifery practice.
* The ability to assess, develop and implement individual programmes of care.
* Good communication skills both written and oral with legible handwriting.
* A good understanding of a midwife's responsibility in regard to safeguarding.
* Skilled in perineal suturing.
* The ability to be flexible and to be a team worker.
* A willingness to undertake further training and skills development.
* An understanding of caseload management.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year Pro Rata Per Annum
