2nd Line IT Support Engineer A leading corporation that is currently undergoing a huge IT transformation is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer with public sector experience to join a collaborative team. Our client paying £250 per day, Inside IR 35 for an initial 5 month project onsite in South London to be based onsite 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert troubleshooting and support for a range of technologies including Windows 10 & Server OS, Azure, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktops, and more Manage Active Directory, account management, and VPN/Remote support tools. Support iOS & Android devices, hardware (laptops, mobiles), and software installations & upgrades. Demonstrate strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for both software and hardware issues. Provide top-notch customer service, especially over the phone and face-to-face. Liaise with third-party suppliers and assist in maintaining IT Service Management and Asset Management tools. Follow industry best practices like ITIL for continuous improvement. What We're Looking For: Public Sector Experience 4 years of experience in 2nd line IT support/troubleshooting roles. Proficiency with MS Office 365, Microsoft MFA, MDM, and virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous experience with ITSM and Asset Management tools VPN and remote support tools Supporting iOS & Android device Hardware support for Laptops, Mobiles, etc – expected to perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting Liaising with third party suppliers Previous experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) and Asset Management tools Knowledge of best practice – e.g. ITIL One stage interview, paying £250 per day, immiediate start.
