About the Role:
As an Assistant Head of Department for Electrical Installations across both Cambridge and Huntingdon Campus, you will support the Head of Department to provide high-quality management, leadership, and guidance across the curriculum, ensuring an excellent learning experience that promotes high achievement for all students through exemplary practice in teaching, learning, and assessment.
The Electrical Installations curriculum area consists of:
1. Electrical Installations
2. Installation and maintenance electrician Apprenticeship standard
This role requires flexibility to travel between these locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head of Department in managing and developing the curriculum, including the management of staff and resources.
* Improve outcomes for students by achieving and maintaining high standards of performance through tracking, monitoring, and inspiring staff and students.
* Play a pivotal role in Quality and further development of the area.

* Relevant subject trade qualifications.
* A teaching certificate such as DET, DTLLS, Cert ED, or PGCE is essential.
